As an authority in the sector, what key challenges do you think that the AI community needs to deal with to make sure responsible and ethical AI use?
The neatest thing we will do is learn learn how to get AI to watch itself to detect unethical/irresponsible behavior and we oversee it.
How has AI impacted your specific field and what transformative changes do you expect to see within the near future?
Generative (GenAI) seems to have the largest impact in my field, and I believe it would proceed to accomplish that for the foreseeable future. Of course, for society as an entire, it’s predictive AI that has had essentially the most profound impact so far.
How do you envision AI shaping different industries and what advice would you give to corporations trying to integrate AI into their operations?
Science and medicine are my predominant focus now.
My advice to corporations of serious size: create a Chief AI Officer position and hire the most effective.
What opportunities and challenges do you think that AI offers for labor markets and human resources development worldwide?
For me it was the transfer of data for the Quantum Science and Brain Science initiatives I lead.
What measures do you think that needs to be taken to shut the gap in AI research between developed and developing countries and ensure equitable technological progress?
Digital democratization is progressing rapidly, and that could be a excellent thing. We must expand reach to disadvantaged countries and ensure they’ve access to resources to succeed with all technologies, including AI.
Which two people do you admire most on the planet of AI by way of their work?
Only had to decide on two, but I select Dr. Newell and Simon from CMU as they’d the largest influence on my early profession.
What advice would you give to aspiring AI researchers and enthusiasts who need to make a positive difference on this field?

If you could possibly solve one global problem on the planet with AI, what wouldn’t it be and why?
Alzheimer's disease. Through the Brain Science Organization, which I co-founded, I invest time and resources to find the cause and cure.
What inspired you to participate as a speaker at this AI Summit and what message would you prefer to convey to the audience?
The opportunity to bring quantum information science to the agenda by giving the talk “Deep Dive right into a Quantum Machine Learning algorithm”.
