These insights offer a glimpse into the design and AI features of the forthcoming Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Shared via Phone Arena, leaked images showcase the Galaxy S24 series, revealing a design that closely resembles its predecessors.

There are also multiple AI features, including:

  • Note Assist: This feature mechanically summarizes, formats, and translates notes.
  • Live translate: Offers real-time translations during calls.
  • Enhanced search capabilities: Users can circle or tap inside any image, video, or text to look for specific items, demonstrated by identifying a selected backpack in a photograph.

These AI features require a Samsung Account, and Note Assist requires a web connection, but some will run locally on the device.

The camera specifications are also seriously impressive, with the Galaxy S24 Ultra boasting a 200MP important camera.

The other two models, the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus are equipped with 50MP cameras, ensuring high-quality imaging across the series.

Samsung has made a robust start in developing AI-integrated devices, including various gadgets demonstrated on the recent CES 2024.

These included an AI fridge and Ballie, a sensible home robot assistant with a built-in projector.

AI in iPhone and Google Pixel Phones

The Google Pixel series was among the many first to integrate AI into their features, especially with the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro models.

Powered by the Tensor G3 chipset and Bard Micro, Google’s recent lightweight AI model designed for on-device processing, these phones offer the Magic Editor, which enables users to reposition subjects in photos and fill in gaps creatively using generative AI.

The Audio Magic Eraser feature removes unwanted background noise from videos, categorizing different sounds into layers for selective editing.

Google’s recent Bard model can also be integrated into an upgraded Google Assistant, which integrates with apps like YouTube and Gmail to supply personalized services corresponding to summarizing emails and creating social media captions.

Slow starter iPhone can also be on the premises. With the event of a language model called Ajax, Apple is predicted to introduce a more sophisticated version of Siri and other generative AI features that could possibly be exclusive to newer models just like the iPhone 16.

iOS 18, due later within the 12 months, will bring advanced AI features like enhancements to Siri, auto-summarizing and auto-complete features for core apps, improved playlist creation in Apple Music, and AI tools in AppleCare services.

Apple’s Face ID can even utilize machine learning algorithms to facilitate secure facial recognition.

The march of the AI devices is underway.
