Inworld AIan AI and gaming startup that raised $50 million last yr at a $500 million valuation, has launched Inworld Voice, a brand new AI speech generator.
Inworld Voice offers dynamic voice experiences for game developers searching for expressive, inexpensive, high-quality voices. (I asked the corporate the way it is responding to actors' concerns about their voices potentially being stolen by AI technology.)
According to Inworld, the product contains a diverse portfolio of 58 voices (at launch) based on AI models that add depth and realism through improved latency, rhythm, intonation and pitch variation.
The underlying technology and models behind Inworld Voice leverage advanced machine learning models with customization options that allow users to pick out voices and adjust settings to suit their project.
According to the corporate, use cases for Inworld Voice include games, audiobooks and narration, voice-overs, education and training, podcasts, AI assistants and chatbots, and other interactive experiences.
Inworld Voice is cost-effective. The first 100 requests per day are free through Inworld's TTS API and for Inworld Engine customers, the voice pipeline is included at no additional cost.
As a part of its ongoing evolution, Inworld continues to work on recent features, including voice cloning capabilities, multilingual support, and the mixing of more contextual awareness for more emotional interactions.
