Landbase unveils AI platform to rework go-to-market strategies and secures $12.5 million in funding

Land basea startup that goals to revolutionize sales and marketing automation emerged from obscurity today with a $12.5 million seed funding round. The company unveiled what it says is the world's first “agentic AI” platform for go-to-market strategies that has the potential to rework the best way firms acquire customers and drive revenue growth.

Landbase was founded by AppDirect co-founder Daniel Saks and has GTM-1 Omnian AI model that takes actions based on performance feedback and improves marketing and sales results. “GTM-1 Omni can take actions based on performance feedback, increasing the probabilities that you just'll get much better results,” Saks said in an exclusive interview with VentureBeat.

The company claims that initial tests have shown a seven-fold increase in conversion rates in comparison with traditional AI models for outbound lead generation. Saks explained the technology's edge by saying, “We know exactly how a recipient will understand or reply to a message from the sender, and that permits us to hyper-personalize a message that may be very human and has a much higher likelihood of success.”

Breaking down data silos: Landbase's complete solution

Landbase is a response to a growing challenge within the business world: the proliferation of specialised software tools that results in data silos and inefficient processes. “Currently, firms are using dozens of those tools across their sales and marketing teams, and that results in many various siloed decision-making processes across many various stacks,” Saks told VentureBeat. “We built an all-in-one workflow tool that may execute and orchestrate actions based on our performance model.”

The startup stands out with a proprietary knowledge graph that comprises private data on company firmographies, individual profiles, and campaign performance metrics. This approach enables more informed predictions and suggestions than models trained solely on public data.

Agentic AI: The next frontier of business transformation

Saks believes Landbase represents a shift within the AI landscape. “I feel generative AI is the very last 12 months and next 12 months is the 12 months of agents,” he said. “I feel the chance for firms may be completely transformative.”

A*, 8VC and First Minute Capital co-led the seed round, with participation from Inovia Capital, Picus Capital and General Catalyst (La Famiglia). Landbase will use the funding to further develop its platform and convey it to market.

While Landbase's claims are ambitious, it puts the corporate in a competitive space of AI-powered sales and marketing tools, and the corporate's success will likely rely upon its ability to reveal consistent, measurable improvements in go-to-market performance across different firms and industries.

As firms proceed to look for tactics to streamline their operations and improve efficiency, Landbase's agent-based AI approach could represent a big advancement – if it delivers on its promise. The coming months will likely be crucial as the corporate moves from stealth mode to actively competing available in the market.
