Tech corporations claim that AI can recognize human emotions. But the science is flawed

However, she added that “bias will not be inherent within the technology itself, but relatively in the information sets used to coach these systems.” She said inTruth is “committed to addressing these biases” by utilizing “diverse, inclusive data sets.”

As a surveillance tool, emotion recognition systems pose a serious threat to privacy within the workplace. Such rights could be violated if sensitive information is collected without the worker's knowledge.
