The British government is planning this Take motion against explicit deepfakesby which images or videos of persons are mixed with pornographic material using artificial intelligence (AI). Beyond laws
Another problem is that there’s a lack of know-how and fear amongst people in the general public sector about AI and its applications. I recognize this from the undeniable fact that in my teaching and research I’m frequently in touch with quite a few high-ranking political decision-makers and cops. Many don't truly understand the threats posed by deepfakes or the digital footprint they will leave behind.
That's true a report from the National Audit Office in March 2024, suggesting that the UK public sector is basically unable to reply to or use AI within the delivery of public services. The report found that 70% of employees didn’t have the talents needed to deal with these issues. This indicates that the federal government needs to deal with this gap through staff training.
