Creative design giant Adobe is expanding its enterprise product offerings to incorporate custom generative AI models.
Adobe on Monday launched Adobe AI Foundry, a brand new offering that enables corporations to work with the corporate to construct custom generative AI models aligned with their branding and mental property.
The Foundry's custom models, which may produce text, images, videos and other media equivalent to 3D scenes, are based on Adobe's Firefly AI family of models. These Firefly models were launched in 2023 and were fully trained on licensed data. Adobe's Foundry service then optimizes these models for every customer using its mental property.
The Foundry service is priced based on usage, not per seat like a lot of Adobe's other products.
Hannah Elsakr, vp of generative AI latest business at Adobe, told TechCrunch that the Foundry service was a natural extension of the corporate's enterprise AI products – and customers were asking for more customization.
“This expands on a number of the capabilities we already had,” Elsakr said. “The company has asked us to come back and advise us, help us, collaborate with us and be our leading AI creative marketing partner on this space.”
Since Adobe released its Firefly models in 2023, corporations have used it to create greater than 25 billion assets.

Elsakr said these custom models will help brands higher sustain with their promoting campaigns. A customer could create an promoting campaign for a product once and use a custom Adobe model to generate the identical ad for various seasons, languages or formats.
“It’s very personalized,” Elsakr said. “We’ve been talking about personalized commerce for therefore long, but generative AI and Firefly make it possible to place the brand within the hands of the buyer in a way that’s on brand.”
Despite the ability of the brand new tools, Adobe is by no means trying to exchange human creators, but simply to offer them with higher versions of the tools they already used to create their content, Esakr said.
“Our position is that humanity is at the middle of creativity and can’t get replaced,” Elsakr said. “For a long time, we've been dedicated to providing creative tools that help improve narratives, storytelling, and your ability to assume and execute your creative vision. Firefly and Foundry are only the subsequent evolution in providing you with tools within the toolkit that improve your ability to inform a story.”
