Anthropic has doubled the quantity of VC funding it plans to boost. the FT reports, Increase goal from $10 billion to $20 billion. The round, which is anticipated to shut soon, will give the corporate a valuation of $350 billion, sources told the FT.
Anthropic, which makes the favored AI Claude and the equally popular Claude Code, has decided to double its funding goal attributable to booming investor interest. Backers on this round are expected to incorporate Sequoia Capital (which also invests in its rival OpenAI), Singapore's sovereign wealth fund and investment management firm Coatue, in accordance with the FT.
Late last 12 months, it was reported that Anthropic was hiring lawyers to arrange for an initial public offering that would occur sometime this 12 months. The company announced a $13 billion capital raise in September, making it some of the useful private corporations within the industry, valued at $183 billion.
