Google is increasing the worth of Workspace plans and offering its AI features at no cost

Google announced On Wednesday, the corporate announced that each one AI features in Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet Workspace customers at the moment are available to customers at no additional cost, although the plan features a $2 increase per thirty days per user.

This change simplifies access to Workplace AI tools, including email summaries, automated note-taking, chatting with the Gemini bot, and more. Previously, customers who wanted full AI features needed to pay an extra $20 per user per thirty days for the Gemini for Workplace plan, along with the $12 for the Workspace Business Standard plan. Now the usual plan is $14 per user per thirty days.

The recent prices apply immediately to recent customers, and the changes apply to existing customers from March 17, 2025. Small business customers are exempt from these price changes in the interim.

Customers who previously purchased the Gemini for Workspace add-on will proceed to have access to the features, but they are going to not be charged for the subscription after January thirty first.

The latest update is an element of a competitive push against Microsoft and other firms that need to integrate AI features into their standard offerings. In November, Microsoft has bundled its Copilot Pro AI features with the usual Microsoft 365 subscription.
