In my view, the three crucial facets for corporations in relation to AI are:
1- Keep calm – AI is currently probably the most discussed topic in technology and can inevitably be integrated into our day by day operations. 2
– Be pragmatic – set clear goals and begin with manageable projects. AI alone doesn’t solve all problems; it’s merely a tool that needs to be used as such.
3- Focus on constants – discover what AI is not going to change in your online business and improve those facets to maximise value in your customers or users.
What do you think that are the three most vital things for humanity immediately when it comes to AI?
For humanity, the three key considerations about AI are:
1- We are entering an exciting era wherein we are able to address challenges and scale solutions in ways previously limited by human capabilities.
2- We uncover fundamental patterns within the “mathematics of all the things” and offer latest insights into ourselves and our universe.
3- AI serves as the inspiration for future, more significant and impactful technologies. It is critical to navigate this time properly to administer much more powerful technologies in the long run.
How do you think that AI can have its biggest impact in the subsequent 5, 10, 20 years?
The impact of AI will span quite a few areas and is not going to be limited to a single breakthrough. I'm particularly excited about how it can revolutionize the interfaces of our information systems. Beyond facilitating conversations and humanized interactions with our tools and data, AI will function a catalyst for creativity for future generations.
Which 2 people do you admire most on the planet of AI when it comes to their work?
I like Geoffrey Hinton for his resilience and significant contributions to deep learning, which have earned him the title of “Father of Deep Learning.” Additionally, Gordon Pask, a pioneering cybernetics scientist, has significantly influenced our understanding and development of human-machine interactions.
What are you most looking forward to about competing within the WSAI series?
It is an honor to be invited to talk at such a prestigious event and present our work to an elite community. What excites me most is the chance to learn from colleagues and share insights and innovations in a field that’s always evolving on this pivotal moment for AI.
