If you could possibly solve one global problem on the earth with AI, what wouldn’t it be and why?

Having grown up in a developing but ambitious country like India, I consider that I need to unravel the issue of data and knowledge asymmetry through using AI in scientific research and technology on the grassroots level. This improves the talents of a big population to then channel their creativity and labor towards faster and greater technological advances for all of humanity.

What do you’re thinking that are the three most significant things for corporations at once on the subject of AI?

1. Discovery – Discover exactly which business problems require AI-based solutions.
2. Data – Access to unique datasets to fine-tune open source models.
3. UX – To drive adoption, a dedicated UX will likely be developed for AI app users to actually embody the advantages of AI.

What do you’re thinking that are the three most significant things for humanity at once when it comes to AI?

1. Befriend AI – Developing AI-in-the-Loop Capabilities – As more jobs are replaced, people have to upskill themselves with the proper AI tools and associated expertise of their fields to remain relevant and move forward.

2. Conscious content consumption – Strong regulation of AI-generated content.

3. Environmental Concerns – High carbon footprint attributable to running power-hungry processors in data centers.

How do you’re thinking that AI may have its biggest impact in the subsequent 5, 10, 20 years?

In the short term, perhaps 5 to 10 years – AI's best achievements will likely be in uncovering complex unknown biological processes to develop effective drugs against some complex diseases equivalent to cancer, heart problems and diabetes.

In the long run, about 20 years – communication between species, perhaps.
